The Government of Pakistan has granted an extension of three years in service to incumbent Chief of the Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
A notification issued by the Prime Minister Office today stating that the step has been taken in view of regional security environment.
His extension will start from the day of his retirement.
