Marla, Kanal & Acre Converter

Convert property sizes between local and international units.

Property in Pakistan is usually measured in marla and kanal (20 marla = 1 kanal), while farmland is measured in acres. The catch: a marla is not the same everywhere. The traditional revenue marla is 272.25 square feet, but many housing societies and development authorities define it as 225 square feet, so a “10 marla house” can differ by more than 470 square feet depending on where it is.

Enter a size and choose its unit to see every equivalent at once.

UnitEquivalent

The size of a marla differs by area and authority: 272.25 sq ft is the traditional revenue measure, while many housing schemes and development authorities use 225 sq ft (sometimes 250 sq ft). Always confirm the definition in your sale deed or with the housing authority before a transaction.

Tola, Seer & Maund Converter

Traditional weights used for gold, grain and markets.

Gold in Pakistan is priced per tola, and older market and agricultural measures still use the seer and maund (often written mann). This converter uses the standard tola of 11.6638 grams.

Gold rates change daily, check a reputable jewellers’ association or bank for the current price per tola.

UnitEquivalent

Uses the standard tola of 11.6638 g (180 grains), with 1 tola = 12 masha = 96 ratti, 1 seer = 80 tola and 1 maund = 40 seer. Local market usage can differ slightly, jewellers and grain markets may quote their own conventions.
