Ivanka Trump, advisor to the US President on employment opportunities, workforce diversity, entrepreneurship and job creation met with Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari, advisor to the Pakistani Prime Minister on overseas Pakistanis and human resource development in Washington DC on Saturday to offer her support on behalf of the US in launching projects that would ensure equal representation of both genders in Pakistan’s workforce.
Both representatives explored viable schemes that would help Pakistan in socio-economic development, employment opportunities and women empowerment. Trump also communicated her interest in providing vocational training for Pakistan’s youth through future projects.
Bukhari highlighted the sectors in which both counties could cooperate for a diverse and skilled workforce. He also invited Ivanka Trump to Pakistan hopeful that there will be more progress in Pak-US collaboration.
