Media continues to play a dominating role in shaping public perception. Pakistani media has grown rapidly in the last few years. It is felt however that it has yet to mature out mere profiteering into a national pillar. Lack of accountability and political interference has badly affected the transparency of media. Profiteering has led to obscenity and vulgarity and in extreme cases treason. A serious effort to cure the media is required to curb it of its vices and utilize its huge potential for nation building.

If there be peace all around, life would embrace a touch of paradise and angelic spirit would induce in humankind. How wonderful it would be to have love, harmony and unity among mankind. These are not just wishes that the Aladdin’s genie alone could fulfill. Rather it is a practical possibility that needs sincere will and coherent efforts.

Technology has dramatically touched our lives. Our forefathers lived life much like their ancestors. But now we see every generation is experiencing life, changed from what its predecessors experienced. Not only there are changes coming over the time but the rate of change has itself accelerated. In addition, we are coming across more and more novel experiences that are entirely new.
