Ingredients you need:

  1. 1 c all-purpose flour
  2. 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  3. 2 tbsp sugar
  4. ½ tsp salt
  5. 1 ¼ cup milk
  6. 1 egg
  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 3 tbsp melted butter
  9. olive oil


In a large bowl, whisk 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 ½ tsp baking powder, 2 tbsp sugar and ½ tsp salt. Add 1 ¼ cup milk (more if the batter is too thick), 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 3 tbsp melted butter; mix until smooth.

Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over low heat until the drop of flour sizzle. Scoop the batter (approx. ¼ cup) onto the pan. Cook it until you see bubbles and it has dry edges.
