It is being speculated that Whatsapp is currently at work and would possibly be rolling out a new feature for iOS, that allows users to be able to preview incoming voice notes in the notification bar.
The current preview feature is limited to previewing the incoming photos and videos only, through the notification bar. According to WABetaInfo, Whatsapp would soon expand the preview feature to voice notes for the iOS users. The speculated feature is currently under development and is definitely going to add to the users’ experience.

There is no information as to when would the feature be made public. “It will be available in future” is all that has been share by WABEtaInfo. What we do know is that iOs users would be the first ones to use this feature
